The Bell Bar is a personal training studio located in Alexandria, MN that exists to help you gain strength where you need it so you can move and feel better in your everyday life!

We don’t just make people sweat here. We teach. The goal with each session is for you to understand your body better - because the more connected you are to it, the more empowered you feel in it.

READY TO GET STARTED?

Before becoming a regular at The Bell Bar, every person starts with a 60-minute 1-on-1 Start-Up Session. This session is an opportunity to get to know you a little bit better! In your start-up session, you can expect:

1. A brief conversation about your story, background/experience with movement, any injuries/ailments present or past to know about, your goals, and of course, any questions you have for me!

2. A movement assessment that informs me of how your body currently moves and the needs it has. This insight best informs the next steps for your training journey at The Bell Bar.

3. To move! I know you’re at The Bell Bar to get stronger, so you will get a taste of what training is like here through a full-body workout to go over some foundational movements tailored to your needs based on the movement assessment we just completed.

4. Planning out your next steps. At the end of your session, we will review everything we went over and give you a recommendation about the next steps in becoming a regular at The Bell Bar!

Check Out Your Options…

Small Group Training

Get the detail, attention, programming, and coaching of personal training but for a fraction of the cost with small group training! Classes are 45 minutes in length with up to 3 other people in addition to yourself (4 maximum in a session). This is an excellent option if you are looking to have a solid, consistent strength training routine that helps to balance out the demands of living your everyday life while having the accountability and support from being in a group setting. Small group is offered in 2 or 3 times per week memberships.

SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING

Unlike small group training, where everyone is following the same program, in semi-private training, you have your own individualized program but don’t mind sharing space during your session with one other person. This is a great option for anyone who has a specific training goal that requires more detailed attention + programming or someone who has chronic ailments/injuries that needs a more detailed eye to work around. Semi-private is offered in 2 or 3 times per week memberships.

FAQ

  • Nope! Kettlebells are my preferred tool for training for most people but we have all sorts of fun things to play with at The Bell Bar like gymnastic rings, barbells, plates, and bands.

    It’s really not actually about the tool that you use but rather the intent behind it. Trust me with that intent and you’ll be feeling better in no time!

  • Comfortable clothing that you can freely move in is ideal. As for footwear, barefoot or socks are preferred so you can feel the floor as you move.

    If you want to train in shoes, please have a separate pair of shoes that you wear just for the gym to help keep the space clean.

  • The studio is located at 418 3rd Ave East in Alexandria, MN. I share the same front door as H&R Block in that business suite.

    Services (e.g., coaching, classes, subscriptions):

    • Service start dates and access details are provided via email after purchase.

    • For recurring services or memberships, access is continuous unless canceled. Cancellation fee is $45 plus 40% of remaining package.

    • Coaching or training sessions are scheduled based on availability and client preferences.

    2. Order Confirmation

    You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after your purchase is completed. If you do not receive a confirmation within 1 hour, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us.

    3. Changes and Cancellations

    • For subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation fee is $45 plus 40% of remaining package.
